Cox brings one back

He gave a gift to Stengle before but swung up forward Brennan Cox takes a good contested mark and sneaks through a goal from the angle.

Brennan cox with a shocking turnover in defence kicking it straight to the Cat’s small forward directly in front.

He converts his third to bring up the 100 points.

Neale shuts the door

It’s been a nearly day for Shannon Neale who’s flown high but hasn’t clunked the marks.

But he finally gets one in the forward pocket and converts to get his first goal of the day and all but shut the door on a Dockers comeback.

Tom Atkins steadies for the Cats

Geelong finally get a mark a half forward and Atkins takes an uncontested mark inside 50 with the Dockers caught out.

Brings the margin back to 27 points which makes it tough for the Dockers.

Tight opening 5 minutes

Geelong have done some shocking kicks to turn the ball over or kick it out on the full.

It’s allowed Fremantle to keep the ball in their forward half but their defence is just about holding on.

But Geelong don’t look like scoring at the moment with Alex Pearce playing an excellent game in defence.

Final quarter underway

Cats go inside 50 but it’s cut-off and Dockers rebound.

Tom Stewart does just enough to affect the kick inside 50 as the Cats survive the early challenge.

Fremantle kick six goals to one to roar back to life and it’s all thanks to an incredible six minutes from Murphy Reid.

He kicks four goals on the bounce as the Dokcers finish the quarter with a wave of momentum.

They still trail by 21 points but this game is very much alive.

Caleb Serong also had a big quarter with 7 contested possessions and 12 dipsoals.

The debutant has turned the game on it’s head and he has four goals in six minutes.

The margin is back to 22 points and Geelong suddenly looks all at see.

Pearce gets the Dockers out of defence with a terrific kick to open up space on the wing.

Josh Treacy drops an easy mark but the Dockers have numbers to clean up and Reid takes an uncontested mark and goals.
