RECAP: Fremantle Dockers earn revenge against Ross Lyon’s St Kilda at Optus Stadium

Fremantle equal their best streak under Justin Longmuir with a thrilling sixth-straight victory against the Saints.
The Saints laid a Melbourne ambush for the Dockers in their last meeting earlier this year, handing the harbour club a stinging defeat.
But despite owning the contest and looking like stealing an unlikely road victory, Fremantle’s cream rose to the top in the final quarter to seal victory.
Recap all the action from Optus Stadium in our blog.
Remarkable turnaround!
Fremantle are in front!
Just as the Saints looked to be taking over compelely, Fremantle’s tall timbre has made themselves felt.
Fremantle bided their time around the arc before Erasmus hit Treacy lace out.
He nailed the shot and his roar was audible in the media box.
Ninth lead change of the match as well.

Jacko’s turn!
Two in short order for the purple big men.
Jackson streamed out of full forward and takes a nice clunk.
The set shot was never in doubt and he celebrates well as always.
The fans are back to life!

Darcy!
Jackson and Darcy combine going forward and the big man is on the board!

Trouble!
Higgins gets the first goal of the last through another contest win and Fremantle are in trouble.

No sub
Fyfe is back on the bench with the vest on.
Have Fremantle missed a trick?
THREE-QUARTER TIME: Fremantle 46, ST Kilda 54
This is the time Justin Longmuir earns his money and contract.
He is yet again being beaten tactically by Ross Lyon and doesn’t appear to be doing a whole lot about it.
Aside from being belted in clearances, Fremantle are also more than 20 down in contested ball.
Serong had just 14 touches the last time these two teams met and he has had just 10 today.
He does have five clearances to help somewhat.

Oh Fremantle!
Are the Dockers going to blow a golden chance to push their finals case?
They just seem unwilling to adjust to the midfield hammering they are taking and it’s starting to hurt.
The Saints get some breathing room with the forwards finding space after teammates win the clearance up field.
Clearance count is a woeful 37 to 16 in favour of the visitors.

Amiss value?
Jye Amiss has spent 84 per cent of the match on the ground but is yet to get his first disposal.
He has two tackles and negative one metre gained.
Time for Fyfe to replace him?
