Larkey!

North’s big forward snaps his third goal and Fremantle have stopped.

The Kangaroos have their tackle pressure on point like they did in the first quarter and Kalgoorlie boy Hansen Jnr is adding great pace after being activated.

The Dockers need to take the heat out of the game but they quick making mistakes going fast.

Game on!

Konstanty gets the first goal for the Roos and we have a game in the last quarter!

THREE-QUARTER TIME: North Melbourne 41, Fremantle 63

It was an ugly quarter to watch but both teams were able to grab late majors to keep the contest alive, Darling in his Optus Stadium return roosting one from range on the siren.

Execution has been woeful from both sides, who have blazed away going inside 50.

Sheezel and Serong are going head-to-head in the disposals battle with the Roo one ahead but it’s pretty even across the board.

North have had 11 more inside 50s but have seven less scoring shots.

Fyfe on!

The crowd get out of their chairs as Fyfe comes onto the ground.

And he gets an instant touch!

Erasmus is out of the game as a tactical sub.

Sub up?

Fyfe is up and walking the boundary line but is yet to be activated.

He’s unlikely to be used before three-quarter time, though.

Ugly footy

Neither side can do anything right!

North missed a goal after a soccer in the goal square completly missed the ball.

Fremantle went up the other end and despite botching the kick, found Frederick in space.

But the forward took too many steps and the snap fell short.

Put it away

The Dockers have come out hard after the break, looking to put the Roos away.

However, North Melbourne have stood firm and taken every blow through five minutes.

HALF TIME: North Melbourne 27, Fremantle 48

Things were going well for the Roos but Fremantle channelled the stealth jumper they are wearing and blitzed them from nowhere!

Voss has been a major presence up forward in the wet and looks great on the run with three goals.

North lead the clearance count by two but the battle has evened out.

In a bit of an oddity, the Roos stayed out on Optus Stadium in huddle at the start of the half time break to have a team chat before hitting the rooms.

Clark is leading the way off half back for the Dockers with 15 disposals.
