Sydney have snatched a home preliminary final with a gutsy six-point victory over AFL rivals GWS at the SCG.

The Giants shot out to a 28-point lead before a stirring second-half comeback from Sydney, who prevailed 13.10 (88) to 12.10 (82) in Saturday’s qualifying final.

Isaac Heeney’s third goal levelled the scores with three minutes remaining in the contest, before Joel Amartey, who otherwise had a very quiet game, kicked the match-winner.
