Relive all the action here, with the first ball set for 12.30pm (WA time).

Cooper Connolly’s emotional father Shane has revealed to the West Australian came close to debuting in the first Test of the series against Sri Lanka.

Starc strikes!

The collapse is on at Galle as Starc strikes after replacing Lyon.

It’s full and wide and the captain Dhanajaya De Silva goes fishing for it sending a low catch into the buckets of Beau Webster at gully.

There’s a hint of reverse swing but it’s a poor shot and a good catch and Australia are right on top.

Another great call from Smith.

Travis Head does it again

The Allan Border medalist replaces Kuhnemann after drinks.

His second balled is overpitched and crunched through the covers for four.

Kamindu brings out a sweep and it comes off the gloves and over Carey for four more.

OUT! It’s been an all sorts over but the golden arm stikes again as Kamindu rocks back and plays one straight into the hands of Smith at slip.

It’s a good catch at out comes Head trademark celebration with the golden arm.

Great bowling change and a huge wicket.

50 for Chandimal

As he was in the first Test Chandimal is looking the best batter by miles as he works a single into midwicket to bring up his 50 off 105 balls.

Been a largely chanceless inning from the veteran and once again proving to be a thorn for Australia.

Mendis survives on review

Lyon gets one to straighten past the edge of Kamindu Mendis and there’s an appeal and Joel Wilson raises the finger.

But Mednis instantly reviews and replays show he’s missed it by some way, wonder what Australia and Wilson must of heard.

LYON HAS THREE!

Matthews did not look comfortable out their and he chases some width from Lyon but it doesn’t turn and skims the outside edge on the way through to Carey.

He’s gone for 1 off 26 balls.

That’s a loose shot from the veteran and it’s a good take from Carey as Lyon moves to 549 Test wickets.

Australia put the squeeze on

In the eight overs since lunch, Sri Lanka have score just nine runs and lost a wicket.

Angelo Matthews looks jumpy in defence and is currently 1 off 25 balls.

Australia will hope they can squeeze out a couple more wickets on what is still a good wicket.

Chandimal shows no such worries stepping out to drive Lyon for four.

BOWLED ‘IM

Just when Australia needed a lift the GOAT strikes again!

It skidded on from around the wicket and Karunaratne can’t bring the bat down in time as it goes off the toe end and back onto his stumps.

A timely breakthrough and great variation from Lyon.

We’re back

Australia will be hoping the pitch breaks up more in this second session otherwise they could be looking at a long day.

Lyon to continue after the break.

He drops one short and wide that Chandimal cracks for four forward of point.

LUNCH - Sri Lanka 1/87

Connolly bowls the last over before lunch and it’s much better as he gets through a maiden.

Just the one wicket in the session as Sri Lanka have batted well in relatively calm conditions so far.

Lyon ripped one to remove Nissanka but Chandimal and Kuranaratne have played with a straight bat and put away the sweeps to put on 64 runs.

Australia have kept it tight but will need to be patient with the surface still looking a good one for batting.
