Australia are fielding a B-grade line-up at Optus Stadium as they look to wrap up their three-match ODI series with a victory in the deciding game.

Josh Inglis is the stand-in skipper for the Aussies, who have a host of big names being rested including Pat Cummins, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Mitch Marsh, Travis Head and Josh Hazlewood.

Follow all the action below, with the first ball at 11.30am.

Aaron Kirby

Shah rest

Hasnain has come into the attack for Pakistan to give Shah a rest.

He drops a touch short first ball but the Aussies can’t capitalise.

Ingo fast start

Josh Inglis shows his good form early.

He punched Shah down the ground for four and showed great hussle next ball to turn one into two.

He quickly moves to seven as Short starts to show some timing as well after spending time at the non-strikers.

(Wicket) Hardie departs!

Afridi gets his man!

He bowls the outy and Hardie gets stuck in two minds.

He tried to withdraw the bat but the ball glides off the face to the eagerly waiting slips who make the simple catch.

Back-to-back

Hardie with back-to-back boundaries.

The first was a guide through slips with luck, but Shah drifts onto the pads, and the West Aussie tucks it away through mid-wicket for four.

He then punches one down the ground nicely for three.

Close calls

Afridi is all over Hardie in that over.

He raps him on both pads, beats the inside edge and then draws the outside edge next ball.

Hardie is reaching at the moment and losing his balance.

Hardie away

After a big play and miss first ball, Hardie bunts a single to deep point and gets off the mark.

(Wicket) Nick and gone

Just as I say it Fraser-McGurk loses his patience.

He wafts painfully at a length ball that moves away and catches a big outside edge.

His feet remained rooted to the crease and he goes for an inconsequential seven.

Perfect restraint

The first wicket has fallen for Australia in the third over in both of the opening two clashs.

But they survive today.

Short and Fraser-McGurk are showing good balance today.

One done

A nice start for the Aussies with 12 off the first over.

They had some help with byes and a terrible wide call but Short ended the over with a nice square drive.

First ball

Shaheen gets us underway and Short nicks the ball just short of third slip.

Australia will be hoping for a big start here.
