Follow live: Australia take on Pakistan in series-deciding one-day international clash at Optus Stadium
Australia are fielding a B-grade line-up at Optus Stadium as they look to wrap up their three-match ODI series with a victory in the deciding game.
Josh Inglis is the stand-in skipper for the Aussies, who have a host of big names being rested including Pat Cummins, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Mitch Marsh, Travis Head and Josh Hazlewood.
Follow all the action below, with the first ball at 11.30am.
Back underway
It’s Spencer Johnson with the new ball as play resumes.
141 for the tourists to chase as they look to secure the trophy... can Australia make them sweat?
Tough sell
It’s hard to come to grips with Cricket Australia’s decision to have seven - yep, seven - of their best ODI XI missing today, but we’ve just seen the on-field implications.
Pakistan bowled well, and have been terrific value in the first two matches of the series, but we didn’t even get the chance to see what a remotely close to strong Aussie line-up would produce in Perth.
It’s a big blow for WA cricket fans, who would have been keen on seeing at least a few of Cummins, Starc, Smith, Marsh, Head, Hazlewood or Labuschagne in the flesh today - but got precisely zero of that bunch.
Innings break
Both sides will take a half hour break ahead of Pakistan coming out to bat.
They require just 141 to win but the Aussie quicks will be keen to get out onto the bouncy surface.
(Wicket) Ripped!
Morris lasts just two balls as Afridi smashes into the stumps with a straight one.
Another embarrassing effort for Australia who are looking down the barrel of series defeat.
AUS all out 140
(Wicket) Abbott chips
Abbott was looking good but a check drive couldn’t escape the ring fielders and the bowler must walk back to the sheds for a handy 30.
Morris is the last man in.
AUS 8-140 after 31.3
First 6!
Abbott gets the first maximum!
He gives himself room and when Shah follows he swings him over deep mid-wicket for a maximum.
AUS 7-140 after 30.4
Spencer resistance!
Spencer Johnson has cut one nicely backward of point and found the rope.
He now has eight runs in his first ODI dig.
He cops the next ball firmly in the gloves.
AUS 7-133 after 29.5
(Wicket) Zampa falls
A 30-run partnership comes to an end as Zampa cuts one straight to point.
He goes for an unlucky 13 and this innings will likely end rapidly now.
AUS 7-118 after 27
Away again
Shaheen seems to have the thumb back in place and he bounces Zampa to return.
Thumb blow!
Shaheen Shah Afridi has appeared to join the injury ward.
He was backing up the stumps and tried to take the throw but the ball struck his thumb.
It appears to have dislocated the digit with Babar Azam trying to help put it back in before medical staff arrive.
