Former NBA star Drew Gordon has been killed in an accident at age 33.

A statement released on Thursday night by his agent Calvin Andrews confirmed the tragic news he had died in a car accident in Portland, Oregon.

The father of three played for the Philadelphia 76ers in 2014 and is the brother of Denver Nuggets star Aaron Gordon.

The pro basketballer’s journey included stops in the G-league, Serbia, Sardinia, Turkey, France, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine and three teams in Russia.

The 6 foot 9 forward shared young sons Jayden, Zayne, and Brody with his wife Angela.

The NBA world is in mourning after Gordon’s shock death with tributes flowing across social media.

“Rest in Peace to a great man, father, brother, all around person and basketball player who traveled the world playing the game. My prayers to his wife, children and family,” wrote senior NBA writer Marc J Spears in an emotional X post.
