Super Celine

After having not performed since being diagnosed in 2022 with Stiff Person Syndrom, Celine Dion made a comeback for the ages with a beuatuful rendition of Edith Piaf’s “Hymne A L’Amour.”

In a glittering white dress on the Eiffel Tower, the Candian, who hails from the French province of Quebec, stole the show.

A lick of the French ice-cream

A bevvy of French athletes took turns in moving the torch through the city before it passed through the hands of the oldest living French Olympic champion Jose Beyaert.

It was taken to fuel an enormous golden hydrogen gas balloon which took flight.

Torch runs

Maursemo has passed the torch to four-time French NBA champion Tony Parker who then joined with the most successful ever French Paralympion Marie-Emilie Le Fur.

Sailor Rafa

Rafael Nadal is now transporting the torch to a new location via, you guessed it, boat.

And he is joined by fellow tennis legend Serena Williams from the USA.

The theme of the day has been the nautical exploration of the city, and this is no different.
