Daniel Ricciardo: F1 star drops in on Hunter Lawrence as Liam Lawson admits to disrespecting Sergio Perez
Daniel Ricciardo continues his worldwide Red Bull promotional tour / post-sacking holiday, and has arrived in Paris to support another Aussie superstar, Hunter Lawrence at the Supercross de Paris.
As new details of the rift between Red Bull teammates Liam Lawson and Sergio Perez emerge, Ricciardo is happily travelling the world appearing at Red Bull sanctioned events, spruiking his new clothing line, Enchante, whilst keeping himself firmly in the sights of F1 fans.
In a post on Instagram, Ricciardo is seen posing alongside the motocross star at the supercross event and looks to be enjoying his time on the sidelines as pressure mounts on Perez to retain his seat at Red Bull.

Red Bull had a rare moment in the sun when Max Verstappen broke through for a win in the rain-soaked Brazilian Grand Prix ending a 10-race losing streak to clinch the world title.
But the issues within Team RBR came to the fore again as Liam Lawson made an uncomfortable admission about his behaviour towards Perez.
The 2024 Mexican Grand Prix saw 22-year-old Lawson entangled in a heated exchange with the local hero Pérez, culminating in the young Kiwi giving Perez the ‘middle finger’ in an act of rage against the senior driver.
Lawson has now publicly apologised for his actions and admitted he was given a firm dressing down by his father after the incident.
“My dad told me off, as my dad has done many times over the years,” Lawson said.
“[He] has played a massive role in raising me as a man and as a driver. He wasn’t impressed with that, and I completely understand why.
“It’s not something I should have done. I’ll learn from it,” Lawson added.
As the constructor’s championship bid slips away from RBR, Team Principal Christian Horner is no doubt wrestling with his decision to keep Perez in the seat for the remainder of the season, which seems likely, or prematurely ending his contract to bring forward a younger driver.
The Red Bull boss has made it clear that all options are on the table and Ricciardo is still a viable option for Horner who has made no secret of his admiration for his former driver.
