Shane Warne’s daughter, Brooke Warne, gets engaged to Alex Heath
‘He will be over the moon celebrating.’
Wedding bells are ringing for the daughter of Australian cricket icon Shane Warne, with Brooke revealing on social media she is now engaged to long-time partner Alex Heath.
The couple are in the US and shared a series of photos on Saturday morning (Australian time), captioned “it was always us”, with a beaming Brooke showing off a sparkling diamond ring.
In one of the photos, Brooke and Heath embraced, with a rainbow forming an amazing arc above them, a clear sign Shane was watching, according to Brooke’s mother Simone Callahan.

Jackson Warne was also quick to celebrate the news, saying: “Wowwww I have a brother!! ❤️❤️.”
Brooke and Heath have been an item for seven years.
Not surprising, she chose the Ed Sheeran son Perfect in her Instagram story, undoubtedly another nod to her late, great father.
Sheeran and Shane were good friends, and Sheeran paid a special tribute to the King of Spin during his concert at the MCG in 2023.
“Being in the MCG tonight and not having my friend Shane Warne here to watch this ... I know this venue was really, really special to him,” Sheeran in 2023, before dedicating his hit song The A Team to “Shane and his kids”.
The fresh engagement news has thrilled Brooke’s friends and fans, including seveal AFL icons.
AFL great Nick Riewoldt sent love hearts to the couple, while retired Geelong champion Tom Hawkins said: “Best news!!!!!! Congratulations guys 🥰🥰”
Fresh off his Friday night victory, Collingwood star Jack Crisp said: “Heyoooooo how good! Congrats!” and Josh Daicos’s girlfriend (and model influencer) Annalise Dalins said, “My darlings!! the biggest congratulations xx so beyond happy for you both xx best news ever!!
Shane Warne’s premature death in 2022 shocked the world and just last year Brooke revealed how much it affected her.
“Grief never goes away,” she said.
“You learn how to deal with it and how to deal with those people not being here, but you deal with grief for the rest of your life.”
