Matildas make two changes
Half Time Matildas 1 China 1
China almost have another look on goal but Mary Fowler gets back to defend and bring an end to a break neck first half.
China came out early hard early but the Matildas struck first and should have gone up earlier as Fowler let a golden chance go begging.
But their defence has looked suspect against a high pressing and physical China with Wuriguluma in particular providing all sorts of trouble.
Sam Kerr has barely had a touch while Fowler has also been below her best. Clare Hunt has looked completely out of her depth today and China have targeted her side throughout.
China produced 10 shots to four in that first half.
It will be interesting to see if there are any early changes made in the second half.

3 minutes of added time
Caitlin Foord again nearly breaks through taking on three players but the China defenders just mange to crowd her out,
Foord has looked the most dangerous. While Sam Kerr has been largely isolated
Both teams settle
Australia has enjoyed more possession over the last 7-8 minutes, but China still look extremely dangerous, asking plenty of questions when they win the ball back.
More nerves for Hunt
She fails to get another clean header away and China threaten to go through again but the attack breaks down.
China is dominating the possession and the territory.
Wang Aifang picks up a yellow for a vicious challenge on Katrina Gorry.
Maybe lucky not to be a straight red.
Linyan makes it 1-1
Arnold goes the wrong way, and Linyan just places it in the back.
Penalty to China!
Clare Hunt makes the defensive error and allows Zhang Linyan through on goal and Arnold’s desperate dive just makes contact with Linyan who goes down.
The referee points the spot straight away and Arnold picks up a yellow.
Arnold forced into a third save
A speculative effort from Wurigumula curls dangerously toward the far post and Arnold dives across to punch it away.
China showing no signs of abandoning the high press despite getting burnt on that goal.

FOOOORD GOALLLSSSSSSS
Brilliant counterattack from the Matildas.
Mary Fowler to Ellie Carpenter in all sorts of space as Fowler gets it back tucks it back to the spot where Caitlin Foord is waiting to bury it forst touch.
Great response after absorbing all sorts of pressure.
Kennedy with a big block
China’s high press is putting the Matildas under all sorts of pressure.
Kennedy blocks an attempted shot and then China get another shot away that Arnold bobbles in a packed box but recovers to claim it.
China all over them at the moment.
Arnold is forced to save!
Ellie Carpenter is beaten on the edge of the box, and a dangerous ball rolls into the box and Zhang Linyan tries to put it in the bottom corner but Arnold covers it well.
Very nervous moment.
