According to last Tuesday’s arrest records Feltz, who was intoxicated at the time, had snuck into the drivers seat of an ambulance while paramedics were loading a critical patient into the back.

The situation intensified when the door slammed and paramedics looked up to see a naked 37-year-old behind the wheel, ignoring their pleas to get out.

When one of the paramedics rushed to try and get him out, the erratic Feltz took off - with patient and other paramedic still inside, forcing the medic to jump out of a moving vehicle.

“I’m dying of kidney disease,” the patient yelled out according to The U.S. Sun.

A high-speed police chase followed which lasted more than 40 minutes as the ambulance reached speeds upwards of 145km an hour - forcing several vehicles to swerve out of the way.

It came to a dramatic halt when Feltz took a sharp turn to avoid a spike trap, which sent the ambulance into a ditch and left him nowhere to run.

Police then swarmed the hijacker, and arrested him on the spot. He was charged with four felonies, fix misdemeanours and is being held in custody on a $100,000 according to The U.S. Sun.

Feltz did not have a driver’s license at the time of the incident according to police.
