Bilopillya: Russian airstrike on civilian bus in Ukraine kills at least eight people after ceasefire talks

Eight people have been reported dead, and at least five others are seriously injured, after a Russian airstrike on a civilian bus in Ukraine.
Ukrainian officials released distressing images of the bus after the strike, with injured people and bodies blurred.
The strike is reported to have occurred in Bilopillya in the Sumy region, and was described as a an “act of brutal terror by Russia” in a translated statement.

“Passengers have been injured,” Ihor Tkachenko, head of the military administration in the Sumy region wrote on Telegram. ,
“Medics and rescuers have been urgently sent to the scene.”
The attack comes just hours after Ukraine and Russia held face-to-face peace talks in Turkey.
In the meeting, Russia’s representative Vladimir Medinsky reportedly told Ukrainians that Russia was prepared to “wage war forever” until the country got its way.
