Donald Trump’s spray at Benjamin Netanyahu during tense tirade, behind-the-scenes negotiation details revealed
Details of behind-the-scenes tensions between the two leaders have come to light, with Donald Trump firing a loaded insult during a heated tirade.

A new book has revealed an extraordinary clash between Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu that reportedly took place during negotiations over a Gaza peace deal.
The fiery account appears in the book Regime Change, by journalist Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan and released on June 23, 2026, which examines key moments from Mr Trump’s second term in office.
According to the authors, as cited by Daily Mail, tensions reached boiling point during a September 2025 phone call involving the US President, the Israeli Prime Minister, US presidential envoy, Steve Witkoff, and Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

As Mr Kushner attempted to present a 20-point peace plan aimed at ending the conflict, Mr Trump allegedly turned to Mr Netanyahu to unleashing at him with an explosive remark.
“Everybody’s sick of you, Bibi. All the Jews are sick of you,” he said to the Israeli leader.
The book claims Mr Trump then gestured to the other people on the call, adding: “Even the two Jews on this call are sick of you.”
The authors further allege Mr Kushner privately expressed his own exasperation with the negotiations, later telling an ally: “I’m f..king out. The Israelis are crazy.”
Despite the reported outburst, Mr Trump continued pushing Mr Netanyahu towards supporting the agreement and warned him against walking away form the plan.
“You can’t back out of this. I’m the best friend Israel ever had. Everybody hates you, and I’ve stood by you. This is a great deal for Israel,” he said.
Just two days after the tense exchange, Mr Trump and Mr Netanyahu publicly announced the peace deal side-by-side.
The claims come as questions continue to swirl over the state of the relationship between the two leaders.
Tensions between the pair spilled into public view earlier this month when Mr trump reportedly called Mr Netanyahu “crazy” as they discussed the US-Iran war on the phone.
“You’re f..king crazy. You’d be in prison if it weren’t for me. I’m saving your ass,” Mr Trump reportedly said in the call, according to Axios, which cited a US official.
“Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this,” he reportedly added.
