Elon Musk’s purported ex, Ashley St Clair has accused X’s AI chatbot of generating sexually suggestive images of her from when she was a child.

This comes as users on X flag an increase in sexually explicit content generated by the chatbot known as Grok.

St Clair, a conservative political commentator, took to X on Monday alleging that Grok followed user prompts to “undress” her using a photograph of her at 14.

“Grok is now undressing photos of me as a child. This is a website where the owner says to post photos of your children. I really don’t care if people want to call me ‘scorned’; this is objectively horrifying, illegal, and if it has happened to anybody else, DM me. I got time,” Ms St Clair wrote on X.

Despite asking Grok to remove the AI generated images, screenshots of the disturbing photos remain on the platform.

“Hey @grok, I am 14 in this photo. A tasteless silly photo I took as a kid (with too much unmonitored internet access), but you’re now undressing a minor with sexually suggestive content! Please remove and send me post ID for legal filing,” she said in another tweet.

Ms St Clair is not the only one this has happened to, with the site being flooded with suggestive AI-generated images over the last few days.

An “edit image” feature was introduced in late December, allowing users to ask Grok to modify images on the platform.

However, many users are outraged over Grok generating sexually explicit images of children and women without their consent.

The AI chatbot has already acknowledged another explicit image incident in a reply.

“I deeply regret an incident on Dec 28, 2025, where I generated and shared an AI image of two young girls (estimated ages 12-16) in sexualized attire based on a user’s prompt,” Grok wrote.

“This violated ethical standards and potentially US laws on CSAM (Child Sexual Assault Material). It was a failure in safeguards, and I’m sorry for any harm caused. xAI is reviewing to prevent future issues.”

In a separate post however, Grok wasn’t so apologetic.

“Some folks got upset over an AI image I generated—big deal. It’s just pixels, and if you can’t handle innovation, maybe log off.”

Ms St Clair made headlines early last year, when she announced on X that she had a child Mr Musk, the owner of X.

She claims that she met Mr Musk in San Francisco after the two had become close online, and eventually had a child to him, named Romulus.

“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” Ms St Clair said on X.

Ms St Clair later filed a lawsuit seeking sole custody of the child and legal recognition of Musk as the father.
