The woman was pendulum jumping with her husband at the Noh’o tourist hub in western Russia, when it appears she changed her mind about taking the plunge into the canyon.
Video shows the woman struggling against an operator who is holding her, as she is strapped into the bungee harness, pleading with the man not to make her jump.

“Please don’t throw me like that! No, don’t.”
Footage shows three other male operators attempting to force the woman to the edge of the bungee tower, as she screams to her husband to stop them.
“No, please, Yegor I’m begging you,” she yells.
One account of the scene says the woman’s husband “laughed” at his wife despite her terror, according to The Daily Mail.
At one point, one of the male operators kicks the woman’s legs in an attempt to get her to the tower’s edge.
“Let me go, let me go! No, no, no! Let me go!,” she screams.
The woman survived the incident, but was reportedly “fuming” at the staff and her husband according to The Daily Mail.
Public backlash was swift in reaction to the video posted on social media, with the men’s actions described as “disturbing” in the face of the woman’s fear.
“There is a difference between overcoming fears on your own terms and being supported with that from others, then being forced to overcome them against your own will. This poor woman,” one person said.
“This is not funny. This should be a crime,” another person said.
“These activities are dangerous and sometimes life-threatening and nobody should ever be forced to do them.”
The Russian Investigative Committee, which is Russia’s national agency for investigating crimes and police corruption, has launched an investigation into the incident.
