MH370 search to resume as Ocean Infinity, Malaysian government confirm December 30 launch date

The search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 will resume on December 30, Malaysia’s transport ministry says, more than a decade after the Beijing-bound flight disappeared in one of the world’s greatest aviation mysteries.
The Boeing 777 was carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew, including six Australian citizens and one New Zealand resident of Western Australia, when it vanished on the way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on March 8, 2014.
The most recent search in the southern Indian Ocean in April this year was suspended due to poor weather conditions.

In March, Malaysia agreed to terms and conditions of an agreement with Ocean Infinity to search for MH370 in a new location estimated to cover 15,000 square kilometres in the southern Indian Ocean.
The firm had conducted the last search for the plane that ended in 2018 but failed on two attempts.
