One of the Slender Man stabbers is on the run after allegedly cutting off her ankle monitor and escaping a group home where she had been living.

Morgan Geyser was 12 when she and her friend, Anissa Weier, lured another schoolgirl into the Waukesha woods in Wisconsin during a 2014 birthday party sleepover and stabbed her 19 times.

The pair claimed they were possessed by the supernatural internet character Slender Man and said they feared he would kill them if they did not attack victim Payton “Bella” Leutner, also 12.

Chillingly, one of the attackers whispered to Payton “Don’t be afraid, I’m only a little kitty cat,” before leaving the injured girl for dead in the woods.

Payton survived the horrific attack after she managed to drag herself out of the bush and alert a passing cyclist that she needed help.

The notorious crime which made global headlines was the subject of a documentary, Inside The Verdict: Slender Man.

Now police have confirmed Geyser has absconded and was last seen on Saturday at 8pm local time with an adult acquaintance.

“Her whereabouts are unknown as of Sunday morning,” local news outlets have reported.

Geyser pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree murder in a deal that allowed her to serve out her sentence in a mental institution instead of a prison.

She spent nearly seven years in the Winnebago Mental Health Institute before a judge ordered her release in January, New York Post reports.

This year she was released to stay at a group home in Madison.

Anissa Weier, 15, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of attempted of second-degree homicide as a party to a crime, with use of a deadly weapon.
