The couple posted the video to Instagram which then went viral, the Deccan Chronicle reported.
It shows them as they were walking to make their grand entry while the rest of the wedding party fired guns with coloured powder into the air.
When one of the guns was pointed at the balloons, the heat it generated reacted with the hydrogen and caused them to burst.

Despite the incident, the couple decided to push on with the wedding after medical staff from a nearby hospital quickly attended to them.
“On a day we were supposed to look our best, we were instead layering concealer to hide injuries, chopping our burnt hair, and colouring it to mask the damage,” they said.
They are now warning other couples who are planning a similar entrance activity.
“We hope our experience becomes a reminder for everyone to exercise caution and prioritise safety over trends,” they wrote on Instagram.
They said the “fun, trending Haldi entry” had left them scarred both literally and emotionally.
The couple thanked the doctors who quickly intervened and prevented more serious injuries.
