Pro-Palestine model Bella Hadid brings in lawyers after Adidas drop ‘distressing’ ad campaign
Pro-Palestine model Bella Hadid has called in lawyers after being dropped from an Adidas campaign.
The 27-year-old was chosen to model a revamped line of trainers first worn at the 1972 Olympics, where pro-Palestinian terrorists murdered 11 Israelis.
Israel criticised the sportswear brand for including Ms Hadid, who has been vocal about her support for Palestine in the ongoing conflict in Gaza, with others calling the advert ‘sick’.

Now US-born Ms Hadid, whose father is a Palestinian property tycoon, has reportedly hired a legal team over the row.
Sources cited the brand’s ‘lack of public accountability’ and accused Adidas of spearheading a ‘cruel and damaging campaign’, according to US website TMZ.
In November, there was speculation that Dior had replaced Ms Hadid with Israeli model May Tager due to her remarks on the Israel-Hamas conflict. But sources said her contract with the luxury fashion house ended in March 2022 – long before the latest conflict began in October.
In February, Charlotte Tilbury also parted ways with Ms Hadid as the face of one of its lipstick ranges. The cosmetics brand said the relationship had ‘come to its end as Bella prepares to launch her beauty brand’.
