Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York, blames herself for the downfall of her husband Prince Andrew, after he was stripped of all his titles and kicked out of Royal Lodge in a monumental fall from grace.

Prince Andrew, now known as Mr Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, was stripped of his titles from King Charles, following his links to the Epstein scandal, which himself and Fergie have distanced themselves from.

Mountbatten Windsor has denied any wrongdoing.

Ferguson, known by the nickname “Fergie”, is said to be more on edge than ever, as she prepares to leave Royal Lodge alongside Andrew, where she has lived since 2009.

“Sarah is going around blaming herself. She keeps repeating ‘what if I hadn’t done this, or hadn’t done that’” a source told the UK’s Daily Mail, about the former royal.

Fergie is now thinking of fleeing the country after being ousted from British high society.

“She’s always rather lived on the hoof and aside from her children and grandchildren, there’s not a lot to keep her here,” the source said.

“Put it this way, the invitations have dried up overnight.”

Fergie has always been a staunch defender of Andrew.

The pair divorced in 1996. However, they have always maintained a close relationship.

Fergie will now be forced to find her own private accommodation. Meanwhile, Andrew will now move to the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, as a private citizen.

Andrew is expected to move out of Royal Lodge at the end of the year. According to Daily Mail, the place is surrounded by Amazon packages, possibly relating to the move.

“The Amazon deliveries that go up to Royal lodge are unbelievable. There are rooms full of boxes that haven’t even been opened,” the source said. “It will take weeks, if not months to shift all their s*** out.”

Fergie is also looking at delays for her upcoming children’s book. It was due to hit the shelves on October 9.

ITV also dropped the former royal. Meaning, she won’t be making her regular TV appearances on British TV.

On Friday, royal commentator Russell Myers appeared on Sunrise.

“Sarah Ferguson, we understand, was asking for a royal residence.

“I’m told she will no longer have any residence within Windsor. She will have to fend for herself. It’s very, very much that Andrew and Fergie have been exiled from this affair.”
