Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be spending Valentine’s Day apart, but the actress is out to prove they’re as loved up as ever — and she’s roped the kids in to do it.

The couple were recently at the Invictus Games for injured servicemen and women in Canada, butthe former Suits actress left the tournament to return to their kids.

Taking to Instagram for the love-fest that is Valentine’s Day, she posted a romantic black and white picture of them kissing to commemorate the day.

“Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games, changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families,” she wrote.

“Beyond proud of my husband and what he’s created.”

In an apparent reference to the meal captured in their photograph, Markle added: “My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you.”

The post also took a possible dig at the ever-rolling hunger to drum up scandal and drama around them, with Meghan adding a cheeky hashtag: #lovewins.

Meghan has been living in California with husband Harry and their children Archie, aged five, and Lilibet aged three, since the couple stepped down as working royals for a life of personal and financial freedom in March 2020.

She followed the post with a video posted to her Instagram Story showing her preparing bagels, including chopping strawberries into hearts and schmearing a pink cream on bagels.

A young girl, presumably little Lilibet, could be seen in the background of the video helping spread the cream on the cut bagels. Young Archie also made a brief cameo in the video, leading the way as his mum carried the love-themed breakfast through their home.

Prince William and Princess Catherine also shared a sentimental picture to their official social media channels for the special day. It was captured from a frame of the video released in September when the princess announced she had ended her cancer treatment.

It was posted on William and Kate’s official social media accounts with no words — just a heart emoji.

The prince has described 2024 when his wife underwent chemotherapy for an undisclosed form of cancer as “brutal”, and the picture is the first time they have publicly marked Valentine’s Day.

Harry remains estranged from his brother William, highlighted by the siblings reportedly not talking when they attended a family funeral in 2024.

William and Kate welcomed their first child George in 2013, followed by Charlotte in 2015 and Louis in 2018 and it appears their relationship, following Kate’s cancer journey, remains strong.
