Meghan Markle Instagram post for Prince Harry’s 42nd birthday offers another look into new UK life

To mark Prince Harry’s 42nd birthday, Meghan Markle shared a series of images on Instagram.

The slide show of nine photos and a short video was to the tune of a cover of Simply the Best by The Hound + The Fox.

The post shared with Meghan’s 4.8 million followers celebrated her husband and his relationship with their children Lilibet, five, and Archie, seven.

The cover image was a ponderous one of a barefoot Prince Harry wearing a hat and glasses staring into the distance.

While there were images of him skiing hand-in-hand with his daughter and son, many images appeared to be of their new life in the UK.

In one picture, Prince Harry could be seen driving what appears to be a quad bike with his children seated on the back with a British grocery bag, and their dog, Pula, following behind.

Other photographs included Prince Harry practising archery with son Archie, kissing Lilibet on the head in what looks like a golf buggy, and eating a meal as he wears a straw hat.

There was one black and white image of Meghan, wearing a flowy linen dress, and her husband kissing at a vineyard.

It was captioned, “He’s simply the best. Happy Birthday, my love.”

As is often the case with Meghan’s Instagram posts, comments have been disabled.

On her Instagram story, Meghan posted a video of a tree-lined road before the camera panned to a grinning and laughing Prince Harry.

Text on the screen read, “Happy Birthday!”.

The series of images come weeks after the Duke and Duchess uprooted their California life to relocate their family to the UK.

Earlier this week, Meghan gave a glimpse into their new life across the ditch in another Instagram post.

In those videos, overlayed with a British flag and red love heart, the family were seen embracing their rural home.

There were clips of crackling fireplaces, muddy puddles, and fishing trips.
