Prince Louis steals the show at royal parade, ‘wasn’t this supposed to be fun?’

Prince Louis brought his usual charm to the royal family’s latest outing, entertaining onlookers with shoulder-shimmying dance moves as he took his seat beside Prince William.
At one point, the seven-year-old was seen gently brushing raindrops off his father’s shoulder, prompting a warm smile and a tap on the leg from Prince William.
Prince William said to Prince Louis, “Look at this, I think it’s going to be quite wet today”, lip reader Nicola Hickling told The Sun.

His father reassured him: “It is, son,” adding, “You will never forget this,” before explaining the parade route: “They will come along here, and then go towards there, and then we will make our way back.”
He encouraged his son, “It’s not going to be long, and I want you to be taking an interest.”
Prince George, 11, also made an appearance, telling his parents, “I’ve got something in my eye,” while Princess Kate shared a tender moment with daughter Charlotte, reportedly saying, “Doesn’t papa look smart today?

Kate later showed her children some photos, pointing out a uniform and telling Charlotte, “Look at his uniform!” before turning to the veteran and revealing, “Charlotte is very interested in the uniforms.”
“That’s wonderful to know,” he responded.
During the flypast, King Charles exclaimed, “Oh look! Oh look. Look at those flags,” while Prince William and Prince George had a brief exchange over the aircraft. “Do you know what it is?” William asked.
George guessed, “No, I think it’s the... typhoon, but it has four engines.”

William also pointed out another plane to Louis, who declared, “That’s my favourite.” William then told George.
“It has a V8,” prompting the response, “The noise is very loud.”
The royal family gathered with King Charles and Queen Camilla to view the parade from The Mall, with thousands lining the streets for the occasion.
Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and Sophie also made appearances as troops marched along Whitehall in a show of tradition and tribute.
In a moving moment, King Charles was seen saluting cavalry members as they passed the Victoria Monument outside Buckingham Palace.
