A wrongful death lawsuit has reportedly been filed against US President Donald Trump’s hotel chain after a woman was allegedly ‘violently’ ejected from a revolving door.

The lawsuit alleges Diana Truschke was visiting the Trump International hotel in Las Vegas on March 21, 2023, when an injury occurred.

Fox5 Las Vegas reported the case, filed by Ms Truschke’s husband John Truschke, claims his wife needed to go to hospital after a revolving door that she entered sped up and struck her, launching her forward before she landed on the ground face first.

Ms Truschke was taken to hospital, her estate claims, alleging she later died from her injuries.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, who cited the lawsuit documents, the defendant claims Ms Truschke “continued to deteriorate” until her death on October 14 2023.

The family claim that Trump International was aware that the revolving door that Ms Truschke used was “malfunctioning” and failed to prevent her injuring and eventual death.

The US President’s business venture is now ran by Mr Trump’s two sons, Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump.

The Trump Organisation is yet to comment on the lawsuit.
