Huntingdon: Anthony Williams, 32, charged with 10 counts of attempted murder after alleged train attack
British Transport Police have charged a man with 10 counts of attempted murder after he allegedly attacked train passengers during a journey to London on Saturday.
Anthony Williams, 32, was arrested by police after the incident took place on a train in Cambridgeshire. A 35-year-old man was also arrested but has since been released.
Mr Williams has also been charged with one count of actual bodily harm and one count of possession of a bladed article.

By continuing you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy.Police said the bodily harm charge was in relation to an assault on a police office in a custody suite after the initial incident took place in Huntingdon.
A rail staff member who attempted to intervene during the incident remains in a life-threatening condition. Five others who were injured have since been discharged from hospital.
Mr Williams will appear before Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning (UK time).
He is yet to be pictured.
Deputy Chief Constable Stuart Cundy said “support for the victims is a priority for the British Transport Police”.
