A transgender girl was stabbed nine times in a revenge attack for lying about her gender identity before performing a sex act on a boy, a court has heard.

The 18-year-old aspiring model was lured to a roller-skating disco before she then was set upon by a masked mob screaming “tranny”.

Five teenagers punched, kicked and stamped on the victim, who collapsed after being knifed in the brutal 45-second assault, plotted on Snapchat and then filmed.

The victim was kicked at least seven times by Summer Betts-Ramsey before she pulled out a knife, the Old Bailey was told.

While the teenager lay helpless on February 10 last year, Betts-Ramsey allegedly lunged at her 14 times, causing injuries to the nose, thigh, hand, and buttocks.

Other teenagers beat her with roller skates before snatching her handbag.

The victim, who cannot be named, survived the attack at Harrow Leisure Centre, north-west London, after a member of the public intervened.

Betts-Ramsey, now 20, posted footage from the vicious attack with laughing emojis, telling friends: “I’m going jail... bro I stabbed her”.

The court heard Bradley Harris, 18, arranged the attack after the victim, days earlier, had denied she was transgender before performing an oral sex act on him.

Harris secretly recorded the encounter on a Facetime video call and a friend told him the victim was transgender.

She admitted this to Harris after he threatened her at knifepoint and she apologised.

But Harris sought revenge – with Betts-Ramsey being heard on the phone to say: “I have to go to Harrow to beat up a f****** tranny bro.”

The victim said her ordeal has left her suffering panic attacks, struggling to sleep and in fear of leaving the house – while she may not be able to work as a model.

She added: “The incident has resulted in thick scars. I have experienced animosity towards me being transgender but I never thought anyone would have so much hatred for me.”

Betts-Ramsey, of Barnet, will be sentenced on Thursday along with 18-year-olds Harris, from Harrow, Camron Osei, from Tadworth, Surrey, and Shiloh Hindes, from Southwark, plus a 17-year-old boy.

All admitted grievous bodily harm. A 17-year-old girl admitted robbery by taking the handbag.
