D4vd: Police investigation after dead body found in boot of star singer’s Tesla
One of the biggest rising stars on the US music scene has had his world tour interrupted by police after they discovered a dead body inside the trunk of his Tesla.
D4vd, who is due to bring his tour down under for the Australian summer after enjoying a meteoric rise in 2025, has become a focus of an investigation after a car that is registered to the singer was emitting a foul odour at a Los Angeles impound lot.
LA Police Department officials opened the front trunk of the vehicle, which had reportedly been on the lot for a few days, and discovered a decomposing body inside a bag.

Aerial footage shows police surrounding the car, with a white tent set up nearby, before the vehicle is towed out of the lot. The car, which reportedly has Texas plates, was abandoned in the Hollywood Hills five days ago.
Burke has been rubbing shoulders Grammy award winner superstar Billie Eilish and recently featured on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert after a monumental debut at Coachella.
D4vd is currently in the middle of his world tour, with dates across Europe set for next month before he heads to Australia.
His hits ‘Here with Me’ and ‘Romantic Homicide’, were released on his debut album ‘Withered’ earlier this year and as recently as June, the singer was in Paris for Men’s Fashion Week.
Just this week, the singer posted a preview of his new song, which is set to be released on September 19.
