Donald Trump has taken a massive swipe at Joe Biden in a new, leaked video.

Donald Trump claims Joe Biden has “quit” the race to be president and has been replaced by Kamala Harris.

In a leaked video, Trump, who is sitting in a golf cart, took aim at his 81-year-old rival Biden, slamming his performance at last week’s debate and dubbing him an “old broken down pile of crap”.

“He just quit you know. He’s quitting the race. I got him out of the race. That means we have Kamala,” Trump said.

Trump, 78, says “I think she’s going to be better” before delivering a stinging takedown.

“She’s so bad. She’s pathetic,” he said, before taking another swipe at Biden.

“Can you imagine that guy dealing with Putin and the President of China — who’s a fierce person? He’s a fierce man, very tough guy,” he said.

Trump, who appears to be sitting next to his son Barron, then drives off, concluding: “Just keep knocking him out, huh?”

It is unclear where the footage was taken.

Sought for comment by The Daily Beast, Trump’s campaign team referred them to an earlier statement attributed to his advisors.

“Every Democrat who is calling on Crooked Joe Biden to quit was once a supporter of Biden and his failed policies that lead to extreme inflation, an open border, and chaos at home and abroad,” it read.

“Make no mistake that Democrats, the mainstream media, and the swamp colluded to hide the truth from the American public — Joe Biden is weak, failed, dishonest and not fit for the White House.

“Every one of them has lied about Joe Biden’s cognitive state and supported his disastrous policies over the past four years, especially Cackling Co-pilot Kamala Harris.”

“I’m in this race to the end and we’re going to win,” Biden said on a call with staffers from his re-election campaign.

A top White House aide also posted on X, formerly Twitter, that Biden said: “I am running. I am the leader of the Democratic Party. No one is pushing me out”.

The president is pulling every possible lever to try to salvage his re-election campaign — talking to top legislators, pumping up his campaign staff and meeting later in the day with Democratic governors before a planned weekend blitz of travel and a network TV interview.

But there are mounting signs that support for Biden is rapidly eroding among Democrats on Capitol Hill.

Arizona congressman Raul Grijalva has joined the chorus who claim Biden has a responsibility to “get out of this race”.

Some suggested Harris was emerging as the favourite to replace Biden if he were to withdraw, with some insiders viewing her as the best prospect to quickly unify the party.

However only 39 per cent of US adults have a favourable view of Harris, which is in line with Biden’s 40 per cent, according to a poll last month.

The US presidential election will be held on November 5.
