A popular American influencer has been injured in a skydiving accident.

Mike Holston, known online as ‘The Real Tarzann’ for his content involving exotic animals, posted to Instagram to update his fans on the terrifying ordeal.

“Yesterday I had a skydiving accident I’ll probably be out for a few weeks!” the caption read beside a photo of Holston laid up in a hospital bed.

“I’m pretty banged up at the moment in some pretty good pain but just happy to be alive.

“I know a lot of y’all want to see me down but don’t count on it too long. enjoy while you can !”

Despite being bandaged at the leg, hooked up to hospital equipment and wearing a neck brace, the social media personality managed to give the camera a thumbs up.

The social media sensation followed-up with a brief video update about his condition to his 16.5 million Instagram followers from his hospital bed.

“What’s up family? thank God all is well. They didn’t get me off this earth today,” he said.

“But, love ya’ll happy holidays, nothing to worry about it’s just another rough day in the office. Hopefully I’ll see you all again soon.”

“How’s your pain?” a voice from behind the camera asks Holston in a second clip.

“A bit better, I was f..ked up for like three hours I couldn’t even breathe my chest was killing me,” he replied.

Holston assured his fans he will reveal the details of the skydiving accident and “what went wrong” when he has rested up.
