A firefighter on a cherry picker appears to beckon her but there is a significant gap between the two.
A social media user who shared the footage online wrote in German that the firefighter could only reach the ninth floor, while the woman was trapped on the 11th floor.
She slowly lowers herself towards the firefighter before retreating back to the window.
As the smoke thickens and blows in her direction while the flames rage on, the brave woman releases her grip of the ledge and falls.
She safely landed in the basket of the cherry picker, where the firefighter caught her.
It is understood it took three hours to get the blaze under control.
About 13 people suffered minor injuries, according to The Sun.
AP reported that the blaze broke out around 6.30am on August 14 but it was not immediately clear how it started.
