Aussie mum Allanah Alison reveals daughter Daisy is in critical condition after tuberous sclerosis diagnosis

The mother of a baby girl who suddenly fell unconscious and was in a comatose state for more than 100 hours has given a heartbreaking update on her daughter.
Aussie Influencer Allanah Alison shared that her child Daisy, who was diagnosed with tuberous sclerosis — a devastating condition that causes non-cancerous tumours to grow in the brain and other areas of the body — had to be resuscitated by doctors and is fighting for her life.
“Not the update we ever wanted to give,” Ms Alison said on Instagram.

“We will be forever grateful to all the doctors and nurses for acting quickly and getting her heart beating again.”
Before the diagnosis, it took medical professionals almost half a year to discover what was causing Daisy’s unusual behaviour.
Daisy would sleep from anywhere between 20 to 22 hours a day but Ms Alison said doctors dismissed her concerns, saying she was an overprotective parent and that her baby was just lazy and sleepy.
In a devastating twist, the doctors discovered Daisy’s brain was covered in tumours — exactly four years after Ms Alison’s other daughter Lily passed away.
The heartbroken family have received an outpouring of love and support from Ms Alison’s social media followers, with a GoFundMe raising nearly $40,000.
