Express Post parcels need to be sent by December 23.

‘Busiest time of year’

Economy Air parcels need to be sent between November 21 and December 5, International Standard parcels should be off between November 28 and December 12, and customers using International Express have between December 5 and 18 to send.
“Christmas is the busiest time of year for our network and we know how important it is for parcels and cards to arrive on time,” said Gary Starr, Australia Post’s executive general manager of parcel, post and eCommerce services.
“We’re sharing these key dates early so people can plan ahead, while also scaling up our operations with thousands of extra team members.
“While we’ll still deliver items sent after the recommended dates as quickly as possible, we can’t guarantee they’ll arrive before Christmas.”
The date release comes after Australia Post announced it was rolling out 500 new sustainable electric delivery bikes.
The new three-wheeled Rapide 3 will give drivers improved safety, handling and the ability to tackle more challenging terrain.
