Engadine death: Woman arrested following the death of a 36-year-old man in a Sydney unit complex

A woman has been taken into custody after a 36-year-old man died in a Sydney unit complex.

Emergency services were called to the property on the Old Princes Highway in Engadine around 3am following reports of a man found unresponsive.

On attendance, NSW Ambulance paramedics attempted to treat the 36-year-old man, however, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers from Sutherland police area command arrested a 33-year-old woman at the scene.

She was taken to Sutherland Hospital for mandatory testing.

After being discharged from the hospital, she was transported to Sutherland Police Station, where she is currently assisting police with their inquiries.

A crime scene has been established, and investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident..

Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000.
