“It took approximately 15 minutes to contain the fire.”

Crews safely evacuated all 33 children and the driver from the coach.

The was carrying 200 litres of diesel fuel, with specialist crews called in case the fuel tank became compromised.

Fortunately, the fire did not damage the tank and nearby drains appear uncontaminated.

Shocking photos appeared on social media as the fire erupted.

Now, all that remains is the burnt out shell that children fortunatley escaped from.
