Motorbike rider dies following collision with truck in Holt, Canberra
A motorcycle rider has died following a collision with a truck in Canberra.
The two vehicles were travelling in opposite directions on Southern Cross Dr, Holt and were approaching the Beaurepaire Cres intersection when they collided just before 5.10pm on Tuesday.
The motorbike rider was treated by at the scene before they were taken to hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the truck is assisting police with their inquiries into the crash.
“ACT Policing’s Major Collision Team is investigating the circumstances of the incident,” police said.
Six people have died on ACT roads in 2024.
