Three people have been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries in three separate incidents during a horrific night on Brisbane roads.

Queensland Ambulance Service said it was called out to the first incident after reports of a crash involving three cars on Birdwood Rd in Holland Park West about 5.55pm on Tuesday.

A man from one of the cars received significant abdominal injuries and was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

Two hours later, a pedestrian was struck by a car on Cameron Parade in Wynnum at 7.54pm.

A man in his 30s was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with life-threatening injuries to his legs.

A third serious crash involving two cars happened on the corner of Anzac Ave and Bruce Hwy on-ramp in Kallangur, north of Brisbane, at about 8.57pm.

A woman received possible life-threatening pelvic injuries and was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital by critical care paramedics.
