A teenaged boy has been charged over alleged indecent acts in the Northern Territory.

Two female paramedics came to the aid of the 14-year-old at Nakara in Darwin’s north about 10pm on Thursday.

While paramedics were taking the boy to Royal Darwin Hospital, he allegedly indecently assaulted the women before spitting in the vehicle.

NT Police officers then arrived outside the hospital to arrest the boy.

“While being walked outside the hospital, the youth has allegedly damaged a medical vehicle, and while being conveyed to the watchhouse, has allegedly damaged electronic equipment within a police vehicle,” NT Police said.

“During processing, the youth has allegedly spat in the direction of multiple police officers.”

The 14-year-old has been charged with two counts of indecent acts and two counts of damage to property.

He was released on bail and will appear in court at a later date.
