Berkshire Park: Fatal motorcycle crash claims life of 25-year-old man in Sydney’s west overnight

A 25-year-old motorcyclist has died after colliding with a car in Sydney’s west overnight.

Emergency services were called to The Northern Road at Berkshire Park about 10.45pm on Thursday following reports of a crash.

Police from the Hawkesbury Police Area Command arrived to find the motorcycle and car had collided. Paramedics treated the rider at the scene but he died from his injuries.

The driver of the car, a 29-year-old woman, was not hurt. She was taken to Westmead Hospital for mandatory testing.

A crime scene was established as investigators worked to determine the cause of the crash.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
