Blackheath, Blue Mountains: Man charged over a series of alleged assaults after being refused service

A 20-year-old man has been charged following a series of alleged assaults in the Blue Mountains overnight.
Police were called to a licensed premises on the Great Western Highway at Blackheath about 10.45pm on Tuesday, after reports a man had become abusive when refused service.
It is alleged he assaulted a 26-year-old staff member before damaging a window at the venue. The staff member was not injured.

Officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command arrested the man in a local park and took him to Katoomba Police Station, where he was charged with two counts of common assault, destroying or damaging property, failing to leave licensed premises when required, and stalking or intimidating with intent to cause fear of physical harm.
He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Katoomba Local Court on Friday 10 October.
