Body of missing man found days after two children found alone in boat in southern NSW

The body of a man has been found days after he went missing from his boat, where two children were found alone in the water.
The 64-year-old was out on the boat on Tuesday, two days before Christmas, with the two children when he entered the water at the Hume Weir at Table Top in southern NSW.
He failed to resurface and emergency crews were called out about 6.15pm.

Fire crews, SES and the Volunteer Rescue Association (VRA) joined police in the search for the man for several days.
Four days later at about 11.30am on Saturday a body was discovered in the water.
While it has yet to be formally identified, police said it is believed to be that of the missing man.
A report will now be prepared for the coroner.
