Boggabilla: Sleeping truckie wakes to find knife-wielding robber in cab
A truckie has endured a terrifying moment after being awoken to find an intruder in the cab of his truck and threatening him with a knife.
At about 3am on Thursday, emergency services were called to the Newell Highway near Gunsynd Way at Boggabilla, following reports of a robbery.
Officers attached to New England police district were told a 36-year-old man was sleeping in the cab of his truck when he was confronted by an unknown male who threatened him with a knife and demanded money.

The 36-year-old truck driver man was not injured.
