Boy, 10, fighting for life after being hit by SUV at Mount Pritchard, in Sydney’s west

A 10-year-old boy is fighting for life after he was hit by an SUV at Mount Pritchard on Tuesday morning.

A 10-year-old boy walking along North Liverpool Rd at Mount Pritchard, in Sydney’s west, was hit by an SUV about 8.35am on Tuesday.

Paramedics treated the boy for critical injuries at the scene, before he was flown to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, NSW Police said.

The boy sustained head, pelvic and leg injuries, NSW Ambulance said.

The driver of the SUV, a 35-year-old woman, was taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing.

Investigations are ongoing and anyone with relevant information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
