There has been a heartwarming development after two children were killed when they were struck by a car.

A fundraising campaign launched to support the parents of two young children killed in a horror pram crash in Sydney has surged past $300,000 as Australians continue to rally around the heartbroken family.
The online fundraiser was set up in the wake of the tragedy in Cabramatta, where siblings Katherine, 5, and Harry, 1, lost their lives when a car struck them as they crossed a road with their mother.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at the intersection of Joseph St (Cumberland Highway) and Gilbert Street in Cabramatta on Wednesday afternoon where they transported the pair to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

In a heartwarming development posted to the GoFundMe page, it was revealed the donation tally had smashed past the $300,000 and was on its way to reaching the $450,000 goal amount.
“Wow, this is absolutely incredible. The outpouring of love has been truly extraordinary,” GoFundMe campaign organiser, Patrick Te, wrote in the update.
“From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for coming together to support Sokram and Vundy in this heartbreaking time.
“Each and every donation means the world to them — words truly cannot describe how deeply grateful they are.
“Even in the midst of this heartbreaking tragedy, what we’ve achieved together as a community makes my heart overflow.
“In the middle of such pain, we’ve created a small but powerful win — a testament to love, unity, and compassion.”
Mr Te added that the family were still overwhelmed with the task of organising their little ones’ funeral.
“Katherine and Harry are currently at Lidcombe morgue. There is still so much to organise, but from what I understand, their funeral will be held on Monday,” he wrote.
“Please, hold your children a little tighter tonight, cherish every precious moment, and stay vigilant on the roads. Life can change in an instant.”
The outpouring of gratitude comes after parents Sok Ram and Vundy Tha spoke out about their loss.
“I would like to say thank you for everyone ... I wasn’t there, thank you to everyone,” father Vundy Tha said, reported by 7NEWS.
“Even the driver, I forgive him already.
“Nothing can change, you know? Nothing can change, I couldn’t get my kid(s) back.”
Ms Ram, who was treated for minor injuries at the scene, revealed Katherine had won an award at school that day and was excited to get home before the fatal crash.
“Why did my kids die? I hope (the car) would hit me, not my baby,” she said.
A 56-year-old male driver has since been arrested and police continue to investigate the incident.
