Two car fires were reported a short time later at Cave Close in Green Valley and Lewis Street in Bonnyrigg Heights.
Crime scenes were established and forensically examined at all three locations.
As the investigation continues, NSW Police have released CCTV vision, in a bid for more information, showing two men seemingly watching Oraiha in a busy city shopping centre just hours before his death.
The two men are seen watching Oraiha as they text on their phones at Westfield in Pitt St, in Sydney’s CBD about 1.10pm on May 22 last year.
Then at 3pm, CCTV shows an unknown person park his black Mercedes on Boomerang Rd in Edensor Park before retrieving a bag from a Toyota Kluger and returning to his car.
About 25 minutes later, the Mercedes meets a white Audi on Eber Avenue in Elizabeth Hills, a short distance away from Oraiha’s home.
Two men, who were inside the Mercedes, then get into the Audi with a backpack and continued onto Hertfordshire St to wait for Oraiha, while the Mercedes returns to Edensor Park.
After the shooting, the men are caught again on CCTV running from a black Prado towards a blue Honda Accord on Lewis St in Bonnyrigg Heights.
It’s alleged one of the men was still carrying a firearm and threatened bystanders.
Strike Force Hackenburg was established after the shooting.
To date, seven people have been charged and remain before the courts.
