Onlookers were left shocked at a local soccer match in Sydney’s south yesterday as a brawl with up to 40 people erupted on the field.

NSW Police were called to Gannons Park in Peakhurst about 4.50pm on Saturday afternoon, after reports a big group of fans and players were fighting.

“Police were on scene within minutes, but the crowd had dispersed,” NSW Police said. “At this time, there’s been no reports of injuries or property damaged”.

Police are now calling for witnesses or vision as inquiries continue in the fight.
