A baby foetus was found in a freezer in Sydney’s inner west last week.

Homicide squad detectives made the shocking discovery at a home on Frazer St, Marrickville on Thursday, February 6.

After executing a warrant at the home police found a bag in the freezer containing what is believed to be a foetus.

The foetus was taken to Glebe Morgue for further examination which revealed the foetus was less than 20 weeks gestation.

“(There is) no further police investigation with the appropriate referrals being made,” NSW Police said.
