A man in his seventies has died after suffering a severe medical episode while on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney.
A man in his seventies has died after suffering a severe medical while on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney on Wednesday.
The man, who is believed to be an Indian national, was a passenger on Malaysia Airlines flight MH141 when he was overcome by an asthma attack.
Tragically, he had passed away by the time the eight-hour flight had landed in Sydney at 7.43pm on Wednesday despite attempts to save him.

By continuing you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy.“Upon encountering the emergency, three nurses, a doctor, and a cabin crew member on board immediately attended to the passenger and commenced CPR,” a statement from Malaysia Airlines said.
“The passenger was subsequently pronounced deceased by the doctor on board.”
The man was travelling with a family member at the time of his death.
NSW Police will not be treating the death as suspicious, according to The Daily Mail.
The Nightly has contacted NSW Police for comment.
