An elderly man has been charged after allegedly sexually touching a teenage girl in Sydney’s CBD.

Police responded to reports of the incident at a pharmacy on George St about 6pm on Friday, where a 16-year-old girl claimed she was sexually assaulted by a man she didn’t know.

Following an investigation, officers executed a search warrant at a unit on Oxford St, Blacktown, where the 73-year-old man was arrested.

He was charged with sexually touching another person without consent.

It was later revealed the man accused of the crime was Graham Kay, the man dubbed the “North Shore rapist” for previous crimes committed.

Kay was refused bail and appeared before Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.

He was refused bail again in court on Saturday and will remain in custody until his next court appearance.
